In response to Hugh’s posting:
In our small, suburban, southeast Aurora yard, house finches predominate, but we usually have some house sparrows too. We have not seen any sparrows for a couple of months. We do have a few black capped chickadees at the feeders and three blue jays regularly looking for peanuts.
