[cobirds] Lagerman Reservoir (Boulder County)

Lagerman Reservoir usually doesn't have many birds on it but sometimes gets a little more interesting when it's raining or snowing.  A quick visit during light snow this afternoon turned up a PACIFIC LOON and an adult male WHITE-WINGED SCOTER.  The scoter flew away at some point when I was looking elsewhere on the lake.  (This is also typical of Lagerman -- birds coming and going, often not staying long.)  This is a different white-winged scoter from the one at Lagerman Nov 12-14.

Other birds included 23 Bonaparte's gulls (likely to leave when the snow stops), 3 Red-Breasted Mergansers, 4 Common Goldeneyes (including a female with more orange on the bill than usual), and the typical Canada and Cackling Geese.
