Friends who live at about 9500 feet have been seeing Common Redpolls at their feeder in Clear Creek County the last two weeks. They sent me a cell phone photo (attached) that's not especially clear but they are definitely Redpolls. Last year they had Redpolls for several months, along with Rosy Finches, Pine Grosbeaks, Pine Siskens, and the normal run of high altitude birds.
They have had as many as 6 Redpolls at the feeders.
