[cobirds] RMBO Banding Station Report, Chatfield, 5/17/13

Slowest and hottest day yet.  Good news (probably) is that we are still primarily catching adult males, suggesting that there is more migration to come.  Here’s today’s breakdown:

 

House Wren       3

Grey Catbird      4

Yellow Warbler 2 new, 1 return (banded 5/14/11)

MacGillivray’s Warbler   1

Yellow-breasted Chat    1

Brewer’s Sparrow            1

Red-winged Blackbird    2 new, 1 return (banded 5/20/12

 

Open daily, weather permitting, through June 2.  We are closing early as long as this heat continues.
