[cobirds] European Goldfinch, Bellvue, Larimer County

I know at this point in time the species "doesn't count" on the ABA list, but a beautiful male European Goldfinch has been seen at feeder in the neighborhood near Lory State Park, is this species seen commonly in CO?  Feedback thoughts? Are they that common in captivity?

Also no luck with the the Chestnut-collared Longspur's on the Poudre Trail near Timberline, but 2 Broad-winged Hawk's were the AM highlight.
