[cobirds] El Paso, Pueblo & Fremont County tour

COBirders,
Yesterday, May 6, Brad Tyler and I birded in several locations in El Paso, Pueblo and Fremont Counties.  We had a respectable day with 85 species, but easily could have seen more with a little more effort.

Highlights follow:
Fountain Creek Regional Park: Northern Waterthrush (area 3), Blackpoll Warbler (area 2), Harris's Sparrow (at nature center May 4)
Pueblo City Park - Townsend's Warbler, Eastern Phoebe, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, a lingering Dark-eyed Junco
Pueblo Reservoir SE corner - Vesper, Brewer's, White-crowned & Lark Sparrows
Pueblo Osprey Picnic Area - Ash-throated Flycatcher
Canon City Tunnel Drive - Rufous-crowned Sparrow, Canyon Towhee, Rock Wren
Florence 115 ponds - Forster's Tern
Canon City River Walk - Yellow Warbler, Black-headed Grosbeak, Virginia's Warbler, Ash-throated Flycatcher.

Good birding,
Ken Pals
