[cobirds] BCAS Field Trip: Hike to a Flatiron and Learn About the Boulder Area – Thurs, Mar 14

Join community naturalist Dave Sutherland on a hike to the Second Flatiron and get an insider's guide to the region. Dave promises panoramic views plus a chance to see some wildlife and learn about the area's biology, geology, and history. This is moderately strenuous hike of 3-3.5 miles, with an elevation gain of 700 feet. The trail will have steep, slick, icy patches so strap-on traction for your boots (e.g., Micro-spikes) IS REQUIRED.

This field trip is limited to 15 people. Registration is open Monday, March 4 at 6 pm (early registrations are not accepted)

Field Trip: Thursday, March 14 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
