CFO is excited to announce the dates (May 2nd - 5th) for our 2024 Colorado Field Ornithologists convention in Lamar, CO! Early May in southeast Colorado means Spring migration has begun. Couple that with unique species found only in this part of the state, and this will be a can't miss convention.
You'll have so many different landscapes to explore, including rimrock canyons filled with juniper and pinyon pines, woodlots and stream corridors, and a number of playa lakes and reservoirs. All of this in a town that offers affordable lodging and a number of restaurants to choose from.
And, if you have a moment, fill out this two-question survey so we can gauge initial interest in this convention. If you aren't sure or don't plan to go, let us know why or what would help you decide.

Lodging information will be announced soon. We expect registration to open up around March.
Thanks everyone!
