We went back out to Martin Lake at Lathrop State Park this morning. The two eclipse Red-throated Loons and three Common Loons are still present. They tend be sticking to the middle of the lake…making for distant ID shots. Photos can be seen on CFO Facebook page and Colorado Rare Bird alert Facebook page.
If you would like to see them…you really need a spotting scope.
