[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Birds of Winter Camp

Hello all!

My name is Payson, and I'm an Environmental Educator at the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies. I help run our camp programs here at Bird Conservancy and wanted to tell you all about one of our upcoming programs! If you're looking for something for your kids/grandkids to do while on Winter Break that's not just hanging out around the house, and actually gets them outside to learn about birds, then look no further!

Our Birds of Winter Camp is happening on December 27th-29th at BCR's Environmental Learning Center in Brighton, CO. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for kids 6-10 years old. Each day we will be focusing on different aspects of birds and bird conservation, ranging from walking around Barr Lake looking for waterfowl, watching Bald Eagles soar overhead, learning how to use GPS units, and of course playing lots of fun camp games along the way! The Birds of Winter Camp is open for single day registration, so you are welcome to register your kiddos for just one day or all three, whatever works best for your schedule. On Friday, we would like to welcome your whole family to come to our camp, as we'll have specific programming that day to engage everyone! For more information about camps and how to register, please visit our website: https://www.birdconservancy.org/birdcamps/. The Birds of Winter Camp can be found under the Day Camps subsection.

Please also spread the word to your friends and family! If you think your grandkids, your neighbor's kids, nieces, nephews, or whoever else would be interested, please send them our way so we can have a great group of kids at camp. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly! Thank you for your time, and we hope to hear from you soon!
