Yesterday (Wednesday), I spent a couple of hours walking west from 71st Ave parking lot (in Greeley) - Signature Bluffs Natural Area. In addition to the expected, I saw a greater yellowleg along the banks of the River. It was near a gravel path along the River about a half mile in. It was also fun to see a bald eagle, belted kingfisher, and a pintail among some mallards. There were very few people (early morning), especially off the cement path onto the gravel paths.
