[cobirds] Weld PNG Sharp-tailed grouse lek question

Question about the Sharp-tailed Grouse Lek "known location" in PNG.
I thought it would be one specific space of perhaps 50 yd diameter.
I went to 2 locations of recent eBird checklists.
Instead I found 3 small groups  (3 birds each, male and female) of the birds along a 4 mile stretch of intersecting roads.
So is the lek "location" where they congregate actually an area of many acres? Or perhaps the gathering time is short each morning and then they disperse over the broad area?
I was slowly patrolling the area from 6:15 - 7 am.
