[cobirds] Re: Brown Pelican still at Chatfield SP at around 3 pm (Douglas Co.)

Pelican was still at the delta, sleeping on a log on the Jeffco side with a couple whites, this morning. Best viewed from Douglas county due to raising water levels.

Paula Bauer and I observed and photographed the Brown Pelican on the Douglas County side in the last gravel pond south of Kingfisher Bridge. It was sleeping on an island with about 35 American White Pelicans, but did wake up and stretch its wings allowing me to get some photos. Hopefully it will stick around.
