A Long-eared Owl flew over my son-in-laws home in Stapleton, Denver, and then flew into the Westerly Creek Elementary School window, where it died. I was surprised by a Long-eared Owl in Denver area, and so thought others might keep an eye or ear out for others in the area. I am attaching a photo of the deceased owl that is now frozen for donation to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, once it opens again after the COVID-19 pandemic.
