[cobirds] 100 plus bluebirds at Chatfield in snow fallout (Jefferson)

A lovely and unforgettable sight at the entrance to the North Marina: over 100 bluebirds, mostly Mountain but about 25% Western, swarming a lone juniper tree and surrounding bushes in the snow! They should be there tomorrow also. Also saw a female Merlin (Prairie) eating a small bird near the entrance to the headquarters. It was great to get out of the house but hardly get out of the car. I notice these birds keep a safe "social distance" from human beings. ☺ No waterfowl of note.
