Gyrfalcon seen this morning from Trilby Rd. west of Taft Hill in south Fort Collins by myself and two others. It began attacking gulls at 8:25, but did not have any success in securing a meal. It then landed in a lone tree north of Trilby Rd, where it was harassed by Magpies and Ravens for several minutes. After that, the falcon perched on one of the tall power poles along Trilby Rd west of Taft Hill. The Gyrfalcon perched alongside Trilby Rd until 8:47, when it flew right past me, circled a couple of times, and proceeded to disappear to the northwest.
