[cobirds] Pueblo CBC (19 Dec.) highlights

Hi all,

The 17 people who helped with yesterday's Pueblo Christmas Bird Count, found 103 species.  Our highlights follow:

Red-throated Loon - 1 (1st for the count)

Snow x Cacking Goose hybrid - 1 (1st for the count)

Black Phoebe - 1 (2nd time for the count)

Hermit Thrush - 2 (3rd time for the count)

Glaucous Gull - 1 (5th time for the count)

Barn Owl - 1 (5th time for the count)

Barrow's Goldeneye - 1 (6th time for the count)

Sora - 2 (7th time for the count)

Wild Turkey - 18 (8th time for the count)

Lesser Black-backed Gull - 7 (8th time for the count)

Lesser Goldfinch - 2 (8th time for the count)

Lincoln's Sparrow - 3 (8th time for the count)

Greater Scaup - 4 (9th time for the count)

Western Screech-Owl - 2 (9th time for the count)

Other species of interest:

Snow Goose - 1

Greater White-fronted Goose - 4

White-winged Dove - 3

Iceland (Thayer's Gull) - 2

Double-crested Cormorant - 2

Say's Phoebe - 3

Chihuahuan Raven - 1

Lapland Longspur - count week

Brown-headed Cowbird - 1

Rusty Blackbird - 1

Common Grackle - 1

Great-tailed Grackle - 168
