I am heading out to the south platte reservoir tonight at 4:30 to look for the Iceland gull that has been seen there. Gulls are very difficult for me to tell the difference between, so I would love some help in finding it as well as the mew gull. Thanks! These would both be lifers for me!

Hi all,
Around 5:30pm, just as light was really starting to go, I found an Adult Mew Gull bathing in the open water. The bird was slightly smaller with a rounder head and slightly darker back compared to the Ring-billed Gulls, and the bill was noticeably thinner and appeared unmarked.
1 Glaucous Gull and 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls were around, as well.
