[cobirds] Barrow's Goldeneye - Fossil Creek Reservoir (Larimer)

A male Barrow's was seen by several birders around mid-day today from the east blind at Fossil Creek Reservoir. It was quite distant but identifiable. This species has been reported at this site recently and is probably a persisting individual. With thousands of ducks on the water, it could easily be overlooked. NO SIGHTING today of the Long-tailed Duck recently reported at this location. I reported 16 duck species in total - worth a visit especially but not only for those with spotting scopes.
