There were 3 Common Goldeneyes on Ricky Weiser Wetland, Walden Ponds this morning. The pair of Pintail duck continue on Sawhill Pond 1, as well as 8 Killdeer and the 2 Greater Yellowlegs on Cottonwood Marsh. I also had an adult Northern Shrike there both today and Sunday. A juvenile Northern Shrike was at Rabbit Mt. on Monday, perhaps the same bird I'd seen there last Thursday. There were American Tree Sparrows at Walden Ponds today,[3], and Golden Ponds in Longmont last week,[15]. Carl Starace, Niwot
