[cobirds] Prewitt Reservoir, Sanderling, Washington County

Went to Prewitt today to hopefully see Cuckoos. No luck with seeing them. Lot's and lot's of Hunters, with Morning Dove decoys[some flying and some sitting on branches]. I only stayed in Washington County and the usual large amount of  American White Pelicans were still around.[at least 475]. Where the Pelicans were sitting on the beach, on the west side, was one basic SANDERLING, walking around at the edge of the Pelicans feet. There could have been more Sanderlings hidden amongst the Pelicans. Beautiful Black Terns and Forster's were flying around this same beach. The WESTERN GULL, was very close by, standing in the water, near the Pelicans. Semipalmated Plover and  Sandpiper, along with Baird's sandpiper were on the mud. I did not see the large number of Stilt Sandpipers, or Yellowlegs, as I saw on Monday of this week. Hoard's of Franklin's Gulls were still present.

Happy Birdiing!!!
