[cobirds] Sabine's Gull continues at Chatfield SP sandspit, Douglas County

The juvenile Sabine's Gull present yesterday at Chatfield State Park was still present this morning.

The bird alternates between sitting on the end of the sand spit and actively foraging between the spit and Plum Creek delta, potentially presenting good photographic opportunities for a patient photographer.

A Long-billed Dowitcher was photographed this morning on the South Platte delta (Jefferson County).  I saw the photo but did not refind the bird.
