On the home front, a Hammond flycatcher was peeping away in the maple tree in the front yard, Lafayette, Boulder County, during a fair bit of the morning yesterday, Wednesday, Sept. 14. Wilson warblers are ubiquitous.
-- Andrew Floyd and I birded northwestern Colorado this past Friday-Monday, Sept. 9-12, 2016. Mainly we birded in Routt County, but we also checked out some spots in Grand and Summit counties. No petrels or shearwaters, but we tried. Here's a photo essay, including links to all eBird checklists:
