It is interesting that Colorado had 3 Scarlet Tanagers in scattered
-- locations on June 5 and June 6.
A male was reported by Casey Setash on Monte Vista NWR (Rio Grande) on June 5
A female was reported by Daniel Fleming in Saguache County on June 5.
A male was reported by Lark Latch in Boulder on June 6.
Did some weather phenomena bring these birds to Colorado?
Good Birding,
Joyce Takamine
Boulder
