Anyone have a good argument that this is a Western Kingbird and not a Cassin’s Kingbird.
Seen today along Squirrel Creek Rd. in El Paso County. 4 of us got good looks through binos when the tail was spread and all agree no white on outer edge of tail and only on the tip of tail. I was unable to get a photo showing the tail spread out. Even though there may appear to be a bit of white on the facing edge of the tail in this photo; none was seen while the bird was flycatching in front of our car about 20 ft away from us. Only the tail tip clearly showed white. This is an untouched photo.
