Pearle Sandstrom-Smith and Clif Smith sent me photos that they took late this afternoon, of the adult MEW GULL. It was below Pueblo Reservoir dam, flying around the pond, in the middle of Rock Canyon (which is on the North Side of the Arkansas River). The pond is closest to the Kestrel and Red-tailed Picnic Area parking lots. An adult Mew Gull has been around Pueblo since January, though is extremely hard to find. This gull, makes 8 species of gulls around Pueblo from 14-17 February. California Gulls are still lacking around Pueblo right now.
