[cobirds] Bald Eagles in Boulder County

The Golden Ponds at Hover and 3rd Ave in Longmont has been reopened since the September floods. There were 8 Bald Eagles (4 adult, 2 sub-adult, 2 imm) hanging around the ponds yesterday (2/23/14).  The ponds haven't been restocked with fish yet, so I can't say whether or not they're just using the area for roosting or if they're finding enough to eat in those ponds.

There were also about 100 Ring-billed gulls, 30 Common Mergansers, 40 Mallards, and 2 American Widgeons.
