[cobirds] Sponsor a Species in the Second Colorado Breeding Bird Atlas Book

Greetings Colorado birders:

The Colorado Breeding Bird Atlas II Office is pleased to announce the "Sponsor a Species" program, to defray publication costs for the Second Colorado Breeding Bird Atlas. The Atlas will be printed in full color and will feature 262 detailed species accounts. Individuals, businesses, Audubon chapters and Bird Clubs may sponsor the species of their choice, and sponsors will be listed on the associated species account pages. The cost to sponsor a species is as follows:

  • Individuals: $50/species, 3 species for $100
  • Audubon Chapters/Bird Clubs: $1/member up to $100/species
  • Small Businesses: $250/species, 3 species for $500
  • Corporations: $500/species, 3 species for $1,000

Species are not limited to a single sponsor! To view a current list of species and their sponsors, visit http://www.cobreedingbirdatlasii.org/Make%20a%20gift/Species%20Sponsorship.pdf.

Sponsors may submit checks payable to the Colorado Bird Atlas Partnership (CBAP). CBAP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization; thus, sponsorship donations are tax deductible. Sponsors may mail their checks to the Atlas State Coordinator. Please indicate your species of choice on your check. The mailing address for the Atlas Office is:
