This afternoon, I went to the Swallows area on the far west end of Pueblo Reservoir, and was quite happy to see a Greater Roadrunner. Van Truan found two Roadrunners in this area, back on December 14th, during the Pueblo Reservoir CBC. To get to Swallows, drive on Hwy 50 West, of Pueblo West, to Swallows Road, head south, you'll get to the dirt road, and continue until you see the green State Wildlife Area sign, not far past this sign, on the right (west) side of the road, before you go down the hill to the railroad tracks, is where the bird was today.
