Hi COBirders,
Yes, it is true, we banded a Second-year male Blue-winged Warbler today, maybe only the second one banded at CBR since 2000. Spankin' male!
Also some good arrivals: 2 Ovenbirds, 2 female Black-and-White Warblers, 2 Com Yellowthroat,
our THIRD GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH banded this week, several other thrush and catbirds, Black-headed Grosbeak, and a FOS Plumbeous Vireo,
Also around the station (El Paso Co), Orchard Oriole, Bullock' Oriole, Ash-throated Flycatcher, Say's Phoebe, heard Evening Grosbeak, and Lazuli Bunting.
Happy Migration,
Steve Brown
