[cobirds] Belmar Park, Lakewood. Willet, Lesser Yellowlegs, 5 swallow species, Townsend's Warbler

Before a Denver Field Ornithologists board meeting, Vice President Bob Shade led a board field trip at Belmar Park this morning. Other observers were Ira Sanders, Kay Niyo, Bill Wuerthele, Mary Driscoll, Karen von Saltza. Highlights included a Townsend's Warbler and 3 Orange-crowneds among the many Yellow-rumpeds. A Western Willet and Lesser Yellowlegs put in appearances. Swallows in five flavors were flitting over the lake and 5 spearrow species skulked around. And then, there was the Bullock's Oriole.
