[cobirds] Sandhill Cranes north Fort Collins

Today starting at about 10 am, there were three groups of sandhill cranes at North Shields Ponds, each about 15 minutes apart. The first group had about 100-120. The second group was about 40-50. The third group had about 130-150. Each group would break apart above us and then regroup, going south. The smaller group came into view grouped like an arrow formation. So wonderful and timeless.
Also at North Shields Ponds were 11 white pelicans, a kingfisher, several American goldfinch, and a song sparrow. There were also several ducks, gadwalls and wigeons.
And all the rest of the usual suspects were there.
