Re: [cobirds] Limpkin update

Great news!

It seems like just yesterday that Colorado didn't even have 500 species Congratulations to ALL  the birders who took us to 500 PLUS!

All,

The Colorado Bird Records Committee has now voted on the Limpkin which was seen at Ramah Res in El Paso County in late June and early July. The record was accepted by a vote of 7-0, so this species has been added to the Colorado state list which now stands at 520 species:  https://cobrc.org/Reports/Checklist.aspx

Thanks to Karen Rau (finder), Pamela StClair, Steve Stachowiak, Brandon Percival, Aaron Driscoll and Todd Deininger for submitting reports on this bird: their reports can be seen by scrolling down to Limpkin at  https://cobrc.org/Reports/

Cheers,  Peter Gent.
Chairman CBRC.
