[cobirds] field trip announcement: "Lafayette Birds!"—tomorrow, Sun., July 2, 1pm

Hey, all.

Please join us tomorrow afternoon, Sun., July 2, for the monthly installment of "Lafayette Birds!" We'll get underway at 1pm at the entrance to Greenlee Wildlife Preserve, Lafayette, Boulder Co. Just look for all the birders. ;-)

All are welcome, no experience necessary, no gear required; children, families, and curiosity-seekers welcome. Just show up, no RSVP. Depending on how tonight's fireworks display at nearby Waneka Lake goes, there may be a few smoldering burn scars still flickering. We'll figure it out.

Lots of birds in the past week at Greelee & among them, including: black-chinned hummingbird, sora, snowy egret, cordilleran flycatcher, American bushtit, gray catbird, lesser goldfinch. We shall endeavor to see all of them!

The outing, sponsored by the City of Lafayette, is free and open to the public. Hope to see you tomorrow!

Ted Floyd
Lafayette, Boulder Co.
