Two Philadelphia Vireos were at Ordway Reservoir today (both all bright yellow underneath and seen in same tree), also continuing Cassin's Vireo, Olive-sided Flycatcher, 2 White-throated Sparrows, plus Western Tanager and Gray Catbird, it appears a Warbling Vireo was photographed after we left there.
-- While scoping a bunch of dowitchers on the north side of Lake Meredith this afternoon, Kara and I heard and saw briefly a flyover Sprague's Pipit.
Lake Henry had some shorebirds in the morning, though when we returned around noon, there was a lot less shorebirds. No sign of the Purple Sandpiper.
Sandhill Cranes were heard and seen pretty much all day in Crowley County for us.
Good birding,
Brandon K. Percival
and Kara Carragher
