[cobirds] Swifts assemble swiftly after September, very soon to depart

CoBirders,

Here is a special opportunity with DFO. 
We had 400 swifts tonight (!) at an informal watch of the Deer Creek roost, Jeffco. I have scheduled another DFO field trip to visit there Thursday 10/6., 5:10 pm at the South Trailhead of South Valley Park. They will go away by 10/7-9. Bye bye till April. There are some nearby natural events we can witness that are special that escape notice of 99.9% of the world, and this is one of them. Details and registration here:

Lots of other great DFO trips are coming up this fall, including visits to the Barr Lake Banding station twice in October. And Pueblo thrice more this month. Real birders may apply ;-)
