Curt, thank you for providing this educational opportunity for Colorado birders. And thanks for the great photo and audio documentation. I believe this to be Common Raven based on heavy bill, and the length of the rictal bristles over the culmen (not more than half the length of the bill.) Common Raven has pale gray at base of neck feathers, similar to the white neck of Chihuahuan Raven, ooften a point of confusion. Voice of Common Raven is variable whereas Chihuahuan Raven is not. To my ear, the call of Chihuahuan reminds me of a parrot. Taken all together, This would be a Common Raven (albeit a confusing one).
