Re: [cobirds] Common Goldeneye at Metzger Farm, Westminster/Broomfield - also at Stratford Ponds, Westminster

A couple of Common Goldeneyes have been at the second Stratford Lake in Westminster (about 1 mile south of Metzger) for the past few days. A good size group (about 12) of Hooded Mergansers has been on the lower pond (closest to Front Range Community College and the Big Dry Creek Open Space). Numbers of Ring-necked Ducks also present amongst varying amounts of Canada and Cackling Geese (and the usual Mallards and noisy Belted Kingfishers).
