That is about the same location we saw the Gyrfalcon last year 2018 around 12:45pm.

On a whim decided to try for Gyrfalcon at Larimer landfill. Seemed content warming up and posed nicely for me from 0830-0900. Did not seem itchy to fly or hunt yet. Photos soon. On the tall steel poles on road south of landfill about halfway down.
