Looks like it is a good day for these two species in Colorado, Margie Joy and I saw three juvenile Sabine's Gulls off West Fishing Road at Pueblo Reservoir (Pueblo County) today, along with six Red-necked Phalaropes close to shore. Hopefully they stay for the Fall Bird Count, in Pueblo County on Saturday. Later, off Hobie Cat Road, near the North Shore Marina at Pueblo Reservoir, I saw two juvenile Sabine's Gulls way far out on the water, not sure if these are part of the group from West Fishing Road or not. I'm missing some regular birds in Colorado this year (that I don't usually miss), thanks to Margie, I finally saw a Sage Thrasher this year in Colorado, at Hobie Cat Road today as well.
