Unusual for December 7 and at 8,800 ft altitude, a Brown Thrasher was seen well and photographed by Dave Hyde

Lack of streaking on undertail coverts rules out the similar Long-billed Thrasher, a mega-rare winter vagrant* to Colorado.

I am trying to find out if birders are welcome to look for the Brown Thrasher.
