Sawhill and Walden Ponds with Luke Pheneger
Saturday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. or so
Free, no reservations necessary
Leader: Luke Pheneger
Boulder County Audubon is offering this field trip in conjunction with the play, Birds of North America, which you are all invited to attend. Please see the play information under Events at: BoulderAudubon.org
This outing will be led by one of the Boulder area's star young birders and Teen Naturalist, Luke Pheneger. Join Luke for this amble around one of this area's most productive public wildlife habitats. The waterfowl are coming into their shimmering breeding plumages, raptors should be gliding overhead, and our wintering birds chipping from the trees and bushes.
Wear sturdy shoes, bring your binoculars and scope if you have one, water and snacks. If you need binoculars, BCAS has loaners. Please meet at the parking lot at Walden Ponds, off of 75th Street in Boulder.
