Yesterday at Grandview:

FOY for me Golden-crowned Kinglet male in southeastern corner spruce

Red Crossbills (estimate 35 of two Types, probably 2 and 4, seen off and on all day, mostly in spruce, expect they sneak into the drying up ditch on occasion)

Eastern Screech-Owl red phase appeared in pm

All three nuthatches

Both chickadees

Few Yellow-rumped Warblers

Sharp-shinned Hawk male

Dark-eyed Juncos of at least three subspecies (s-c, p-s and O)

Chipping Sparrow (4)

Continuing the mountain flavor of the bird mix at low elevation, this morning in my FC apartment complex courtyard e of CSU about a mile:

First ever Pygmy Nuthatch (species #125)

Flyover Type 4 Red Crossbill  (new Type for this location)

Mountain Chickadee

Red-breasted Nuthatch
