I spent the day birding in northeast Colorado and saw many of the usual suspects-Joey Kellner showed me an Eastern Wood Pewee and I heard a Northern Cardinal around area 9 at Tamarack Ranch. The biggest frustration was not being able to find an Upland Sandpiper even though I know they're there-my only excuse was it was noontime -consolation prize was a pair of Eastern Bluebirds just west of the house at Red Lion ranch. Good birding. Bill Fink Longmont
