[cobirds] Dickcissels, East Boulder County

Sondra and I saw 3 male Dickcissels this morning along 111th St (dirt road) that wraps around Prince Lake 2 and then intersects to the north with Isabelle. The Dickcissels seemed to especially like the extensive patch of thistles that runs along the East side of the road after it straightens to the north; allowing good looks from the car. We also saw Dickcissels this past week at Teller Farms and in a field along Baseline road east of Baseline reservoir. So there seems to be a quite a few in the area right now.
