[cobirds] Huerfano County Update: Yellow-billed Cuckoo

While having coffee on the side porch this morning we heard the long-awaited call of a Yellow-billed Cuckoo! So very happy this species has returned for the 6th year in a row! Our yard now feels full of its' complement of summer residents.

Two years ago we had a Black-billed Cuckoo that stayed for 5 days...still hoping the record will be accepted and Huerfano County will have another species on its' list. Have also been hoping and straining the ears to hear one again...but like so many others that visit was probably a one off! 😊
