[cobirds] Attn: Boulder-area birders (seeking birding companion for a day)

Birders,

I've posted on this board before hoping to connect with other birders with whom I, as an Estes Park-based birder without a car, might be able to join on birding excursions on my days off. I don't have a vehicle, as mentioned, but I could take the Estes Park Shuttle down the mountain and be dropped off somewhere to be picked up by a willing birder for a day's outing. This would cost me $80 round-trip, but it would be worth doing maybe once or twice a month over the course of the summer if it meant I could easily experience birds of Colorado's (relatively) lower elevations rather than just the mountains in the area immediately surrounding Estes Park.

Currently, my days off are Friday and Saturday, which should be rather convenient for most other birders that probably work Monday-Friday. If I were to take the shuttle down to the RTD Station in Boulder next Friday or Saturday (the 16th or 17th of June), or perhaps the weekend after (assuming my schedule remains the same), are there any birders who would be willing to pick me up that morning and take me to a number of birding locations in the general area throughout the day? If so, please contact me ASAP so I can make the shuttle reservations. (I could also take the shuttle down to the Denver area, but Boulder is more convenient for a one-day outing.)

FYI, I'm particularly interested in bringing up my Colorado state list (currently at 126 species); if interested, I can send people a general list of hoped-for species (lifers and/or state birds) during my time here in Colorado this summer. With luck, we can work something out so I can successfully see many of them before I return home to California in the fall.
