ADAMS COUNTY:
--A Swamp Sparrow was banded by Meredith McBurney at Barr Banding Station on September 29.
--A Nashville Warbler was banded by Meredith Mc Burney at Barr Banding Station on October 2.
ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--A Nashville Warbler was reported by David Hill and Cynthia Madsen at Parker Jordan Centennial Open Space on September 30.
--At Cherry Creek SP on October Gabriel Wiltse reported ARCTIC TERN and EASTERN TOWHEE.
--On October 9, Van Remsen reported 7 Chestnut-collared Longspurs at a field on RD 185 about .5 mile S of Hwy 36.
BENT COUNTY:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Dave Leather at Tempel Grove on October 10.
BOULDER COUNTY:
--An ad Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Bill Hutchinson in Sunshine Canyon on September 30.
--3 Chestnut-collared Longspsurs were reported by Scott Severs at Lagerman Reservoir on October 4.
--A TRICOLORED HERON was found by Peter Gent at Cottonwood Marsh on October 11. It has been seen by many birders.
It has been moving around the marsh.
DOUGLAS COUNTY:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Kathy Mihm Dunning and Joey Kellner at Chatfield upstream of Kingfisher Bridge on October 3.
--A juv ARCTIC TERN was reported by Glenn Walbek at the Chatfield sandspit on October 2. The ARCTIC TERN was seen by several other birders on October 2. On October 3, Bryan and Kristin Arnold reported ARCTIC TERN and Sabine's Gull east of the sandspit at Chatfield. The ARCTIC TERN was seen by many birder on October 3. On October 4, Van Remsen reported Red-necked Grebe and ARCTIC TERN at Chatfield. On October 5, Mark Chavez reported ARCTIC TERN and imm Sabine's Gull at Chatfield SP, and Sue Riffe and many others reported Red-necked Grebe at Chatfield. On October 6, Michael Kiessig found a Ruddy Turnstone on the Sandspit along with ARCTIC TERN and Sabine's Gull at Chatfield. On October 7, Tom Behnfiled reported Ruddy Turnstone, ARCTIC TERN, and Sabine's Gull at Sandpit and Doug Kibbe reported Red-necked Grebe at Chatfield. On October 8 Scott Manwaring reported Ruddy Turnstone, Red-necked Grebe and 2 Sabine's Gulls at Chatfield. Others missed the Ruddy Turnstone later in the day. On October 9, Matt Crooks reported Ruddy Turnstone and Bob Shade reported Red-necked Grebe at Chatfield SP. On October 10, Steve Stachowiak reported Ruddy Turnstone and Tom Behnfield reported Red-necked Grebe at Chatfield SP. On October 11, Joey Kellner reported that the Red-necked Grebe was seen on the Chatfield Big Sit.
EL PASO COUNTY:
--On October 5, Steve Brown reported a Broad-winged Hawk at Clear Spring Ranch.
--On October 7, Steve Brown reported Eastern Phoebe at Clear Spring Ranch.
JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Gerald Baines at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield on October 2.
KIT CARSON COUNTY:
--6 Broad-winged Hawks and a Magnolia Warbler were reported by David Dowell at Flagler Reservoir SWA on October 4.
LARIMER COUNTY:
--An American Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by Chris Wood and Jessie Barry on Fall River Road in Rocky Mt NP on October 1.
--A Green Heron was reported by Jim Nelson at Matthews-Reeser Bird Sanctuary at Lake Estes on October 2.
--A juv LITTLE GULL was found by Nick Komar at the NE corner CR 28 of Horseshoe Reservoir in Loveland on October 3.
--On October 4, Nick Komar reported 1 sub ad Sabine's Gull and 2 ad Lesser Black-backed Gulls at Horseshoe Reservoir in Loveland.
--A McCown's Longspur was reported by Nick Komar and Kevin Keirn at Timnath Reservoir on October 6.
--3 Green Heron were reported by David Wade at Magpie Meander Natural Area in Fort Collins on October 7.
LINCOLN COUNTY:
--On October 5, on CR 3E near Genoa, Glenn Walbek reported 65 Chestnut-collared Longspurs, 110 McCown's Longspurs, and 1 BAIRD'S SPARROW.
LOGAN COUNTY:
--A Nashville Warbler was reported by David Dowell at North Sterling Reservoir on October 3.
MESA COUNTY:
--A Black Phoebe at the pond at Grand Junction Wildlife Area was reported by Mike Henwood on September 28 and 29. Mike Henwood reported Black Phoebes at Grand Junction Wildlife Area on October 1. On October 6, Mike Henwood reported Black Phoebe at a small pond on the east side of Grand Junction Wildlife Area.
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Brett Walker on the Colorado River at Horsethief SWA near Fruita on October 3.
--On October 5, Mike Henwood reported 16 HUDSONIAN GODWITS at Redlands Parkway Ponds.
MONTROSE COUNTY:
--An ad Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Coen Dexter in Nucla on October 1.
MORGAN COUNTY:
--A Parasitic Jaeger was reported by Jessie Barry at Jackson Reservoir on the N side on October 3. On October 4, Norm Erthal reported ad Parasitic Jaeger at Jackson Reservoir. On October 5,Todd Deininger reported Parasitic Jaeger at Jackson Reservoir seen from the North Side. On October 6, Ira Sanders reported that the Parasitic Jaeger continues at Jackson Reservoir. On October 7, Glenn Walbek reported ad Parasitic Jaeger and sub-ad Lesser Black-backed Gull at Jackson Reservoir. On October 8, John Vanderpoel repored Parasitic Jaeger at Jackson Reservoir. On October 11, Dough Faulkner reported Parasitic Jaeger at Jackson Reservoir.
PARK COUNTY:
--Blakeslee reported a Green Heron at Bailey on Septmeber 24. Directions: At the bottom of Crow Hill ()hwy 285) turn left or east on CR 68 or the Wellington Lake Road. there is a Bailey Propane, a restaurant, and a couple of businesses and then the sewage plant. Just past the sewage plant along cr 68 is a shall little pond with willows and cattails on the far side. The heron was fishing in this pond.
--On October 6 at Spinney Mountain Reservoir, David Suddjian reported Red-necked Grebe and Sabine's Gull.
--At the pond at Trout Creek Ranch N of Hartsel, David Suddjian reported Green Heron on October 6.
PROWERS COUNTY:
--A Nashville Warbler was reported by Chris Rurik at Lamar Community College Woods on October 9.
--At Riverside Cemetery in Lamar on October 9, Dave Leatherman reported Swamp Sparrow, 2 Nashville Warblers, and 3+Field Sparrows. On October 10 at RIverside Cemetery, Dave Leatherman reported 2 Field Sparrows and 1 Nashville Warbler.
--At Thurston Reservoir on October 10, Dave Leatherman reported 1 Field Sparrow.
PUEBLO COUNTY:
--On October 7, Brandon Percival reported 3 Caspian Terns at Pueblo Reservoir and Margie Joy found a Greater Roadrunner at the Turkey Creek area of the reservoir. On October 7, Daniel Fleming reported a Green Heron at Pueblo Reservoir.
SUMMIT COUNTY:
--2 Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by David and Mary Anne Marjamma at the Silverthorne Water Treatment Plant on October 2.
WELD COUNTY:
--At Crow Valley CG on October 3, Jessie Barry and Chris Wood reported Red-bellied Woodpecker, Least Flycatcher, and 2 Eastern Phoebe.
--A Lapland Longspur was reported by Chris Wood near Briggsdale on CR 105 on October 3.
--On October 5, Steve Mlodinow reported Broad-winged Hawk and Eastern Phoebe at Crow Valley CG.
--On October 6, Tim Mitzen reported Broad-winged Hawk and Red-bellied Woodpecker at Crow Valley CG.
--On October 7, Steve Mlodinow reported Red-bellied Woodpecker at Crow Valley CG.
--A juv Sabine's Gull was reported by John Vanderpoel at Loloff on October 8.
--On October 12, David Dowell reported Broad-winged Hawk and Red-bellied Woodpecker at Crow Valley CG>
YUMA COUNTY:
--On October 4, at Pipit Hill in South Republican Wildlife Easement, David Dowell reported at least 3 Sprague's Pipits.
--On October 10, Bill Kaempfer reported 6 Sprague's Pipit in the Hale Area at Pipit Hill on the CFO Field Trip.
--On October 12, Nic Korte reported 6 Sprague's Pipits in the Hale Area at Pipit Hill.

Take S Wadsworth Blvd past Chatfield SP to Waterton Rd on left. Take Waterton Rd 1.6 miles to North Rampart Range Road. Turn right and go south 2.3 miles to Roxborough Park Rd. and follow signs to the Park (2.2 miles) State Parks pass or day pass required.
