[cobirds] What I saw Tuesday at Walden ponds Boulder

Hi Cobirders, A large group of Tuesday birders found a lot of birds on a nice day around Walden ponds. I stayed with my rolator around Cottonwood Marsh
which had a great assortment of birds. I saw 18 species including White Pelicans 17, Spotted Sandpiper 1, Killdeer 3, White-faced Ibis, Blue-winged Teal 1,
Great-tailed Grackle 2, and Osprey all new for me for the year that now totals 86!

The trail from the boardwalk east to the senior fishing pond is lightly graveled and is protected by a mound of new dirt with about 8 huge gray white rocks
spaced evenly and a crew of Boulder open space were planting shrubs between them.

Check the Tuesday Birders report for all they saw.

Birding is great!
