While birding around McMurry Natural area this morning I had a single male Audubon's Warbler in a cottonwood and after a couple of minutes in comes an adult Broad-winged Hawk and perched in the same tree. A couple of European Starlings started to give off some alarm calls, followed by some fearless Blue Jay's that mobbed the Broad-winged Hawk.
-- There was also a House Wren working the understory.
